In this capsule, I played around with different materials and textures. Materials that change depending on their surrounding or over time. Textures that warm the body but also free it. Antibacterial fabrications and some that mean more. Among those was copper symbolizing its relation and meaning to the statue of liberty. I was interested in exploring how nature, in this case, copper when exposed to namely co2 and h2o. As it takes years for a beautiful patin to be built in this scenario you only see the first developments of the coat's lapel changing. But I enjoy the idea of one and the same garment looking very different after a few years depending on the climate and surrounding it is exposed to. As I want to create goods that are as unique as their wearer.
