My concept when creating and designing clothing or accessories is focused on the idea of sustainability as something that lasts beyond a generation. Or in other words, ageless design is a way of sustainability. In the last few weeks, I thought through some of the attributes a product has to offer to be considered and created the way I want garments to be treated in the future.

I used an old firehose from my local fire department in Hamburg and produced a bag that offers straightforward design elements and incredible functionality. One of the challenges of the daily life of a Parson's student is to find a sturdy and practical bag that fits all utensils. For this project, I turned to long-lasting used materials and sustainable ones such as bamboo.
