In this capsule, I played around with different materials and textures. Fabrications that change depending on their surroundings or over time. Textures that warm the body but also free it. Antibacterial fabrications and some that mean more. Among those was copper symbolizing its relation and meaning to the statue of liberty as it oxidizes over time.
this fall collection was inspired by synthesizing unknown and known together to create shapes and textures that resemble geometric alignment in times of caprice.

My concept when creating and designing clothing or accessories is focused on the idea of sustainability as something that lasts beyond a generation. Or in other words, ageless design is a way of sustainability. In the last few weeks, I thought through some of the attributes a product has to offer to be considered and created the way I want garments to be treated in the future.
I used an old firehose from my local fire department in Hamburg and produced a bag that offers straightforward design elements and incredible functionality. One of the challenges of the daily life of a Parson's student is to find a sturdy and practical bag that fits all utensils. For this project, I turned to long-lasting used materials and sustainable ones such as bamboo.
